Fans of the Osbourne family were deeply moved by a touching detail at Ozzy Osbourne’s fun.eral—an accessory worn by his wife, Sharon Osbourne, that carried special meaning.
The farewell ceremony for the legendary Black Sabbath frontman was held on July 30 in Birmingham, England, following his death on July 22 at the age of 76.
Sharon was joined by their three children—Aimee, Kelly, and Jack—as they honored Ozzy’s legacy in a public procession witnessed by hundreds of devoted fans.
The family looked visibly emotional as they arrived at the Black Sabbath bench, which had become a tribute site covered in flowers, photos, and mementos.
In a symbolic moment, all four family members raised their hands in a peace sign to show respect for their late loved one.
Amid the sorrowful scenes, viewers and fans noticed a particularly heartfelt detail: a gold ring worn on a chain around Sharon Osbourne’s neck.
Social media users quickly pointed out that the ring appeared to be Ozzy’s wedding band.

Sharon and Ozzy’s relationship spanned more than five decades. They met in 1970 when her father was managing Black Sabbath, but their bond deepened in 1979 when Sharon began managing Ozzy as a solo artist.
They married in 1982 and had three children together. Despite a temporary split in 2016, they reunited shortly after and reaffirmed their love in a wedding vow renewal in 2017.
Ozzy described that event as their “true wedding day” in an interview with Hello! magazine. “This is the one that I will remember,” he said.
“Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning.”
During the funeral, Sharon and her children each carried a pink rose wrapped in black paper and tied with a purple ribbon.
Sharon was seen gently kissing her flower before placing it beside a poster of Ozzy—one final, tender goodbye to her husband of more than 40 years.
